By a court decision on partial satisfaction of the civil claim of the entrepreneur Magomed Yandiev, owner of the DAT | Public Position newspaper Dara Info LLP must pay KZT 5,000,000 (about USD 11,500) in compensation for moral damage to the plaintiff. Also, the LLP must refute the information recognized by the court as untrue and discrediting the plaintiff. The author of the article, journalist Zhumabike Zhunusova, was also the defendant in the trial.
