The owner of the news aggregator Toppress.kz, DARA Consult LLP, was a defendant in a civil suit for the protection of business reputation brought by the Almaty-based poultry farm Sunkar. The plaintiff asked to recognise as false the information published in the article «Working „to zero“: How the public catering sector suffers from price collusion on eggs» and to oblige the defendant to publish the refutation. The publication did not mention the name of the poultry farm. The court refused to satisfy the claim.
