It became known that journalist Daniil Palyanski was detained and placed in pre-trial detention centre. He is incriminated with Article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus — «Treason». The journalist was detained by KGB officers presumably on September 19 after his return from Russia, where he had gone to visit relatives. The day before, Palyanski had an incident with Russian law enforcers on the territory of the Russian Federation. His car was stopped by Federal Security Service officers and then he was charged with an administrative offence for disobedience, as he allegedly refused to show his documents.
