The court arrested Daniil Belyakov for seven days under the article on organising an unauthorised event (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). Resonance Media reports that Belyakov is a journalist, one of the founders of the media outlet. He was severely beaten during the detention.
