Danaya Kalieva was detained and taken in for interrogation with regards to a criminal case on distribution of false information filed on 20 April by the HSBK bank. The activist is called as a witness with a right to an attorney. Kalieva was held at the Almaty police department for eight hours. The police protocol was not filed.
