Before the verdict against the head of the Jehovah's Witnesses religious community was announced, bailiffs of the Gagarinsky District Court prohibited attendees from taking any devices (including cell phones) into the courtroom. This restricted the right to audio recordings of court hearings, which is enshrined in the Code of Criminal Procedure.
