The Regional Security Directorate of the Tver Region sent a request to Governor Igor Rudenya, the Center for Combating Extremism, and the regional department of the Federal Security Service to check the Telegram channel Close Tver Behind Me. The denunciation states that the channel’s administrators «promote extremist ideas and call for public disobedience, post videos of Ukrainian special services and other fake information». It is separately stated that the channel published information about public figures of Tver Region who spoke in support of the war in Ukraine, including their phone numbers and accounts on social networks.
