On April 4, director of CJSC Alaverdi Medical Center Stepan Mosinyan filed a lawsuit with the Lori Regional Court of General Jurisdiction (Alaverdi Chancellery) against journalist Larisa Paremuzyan and online TV channel CivilNet demanding public refutation of the information considered libel and compensation for the damage caused to his honor and dignity. The reason for the lawsuit was the article, which, in particular, says: «Through his own pharmacy in the medical center, Mosinyan is engaged in retail sale of medicines and controls the distribution of state-ordered medicines to dispensary patients. Mosinyan uses the pathology department of the medical center as a source of enrichment. Meanwhile, the Lori Region Prosecutor’s Office turns a blind eye to Mosinyan’s illegal actions». On April 7, the lawsuit was accepted into production and is in the process of consideration.
