On 12 June, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction issued a ruling partially upholding the lawsuit filed on 4 October 2021 by businessman Petros Tovmasyan against the founder of the news website Civic.am — the ruling party Civil Contract — ordering the defendant to publish a retraction, pay the claimant 400,000 drams (over $1,000) in compensation for defamation, and 60,000 drams (over $150) to cover legal feels.
