Freelance journalist Nino Chelidze said she was summoned to the State Security Service of Georgia because of her Facebook posts. She noted that they asked her about where the Facebook account belongs to her and did she wrote the post. “They asked if I knew anyone who, for example, was offered money. Of course, I don’t have this information,” Chelidze said after the interrogation. The Georgian State Security Service is conducting an investigation into the story on the "Mtavari Arkhi" TV channel. The story was about how government officials are bribing the population in order to distort the statistics of COVID-19 cases.
