Additional information:

The camera crew of Radio Azattyq could not get to polling station №59, where the head of state was about to vote. Police officers and representatives of the presidential security service told the journalists of Radio Azattyq that they were «not on the list». The editorial board reports that all the necessary documents to cover the referendum had been sent in advance. «The list of journalists who will go to the polling station where Tokayev will vote was compiled by a committee of the Ministry of Information. We sent the same documents as our colleagues from other media; we called to find out whether we had been accredited. The management of Radio Azattyq even wrote to the Minister of Information and Public Development Askar Umarov, but he did not reply. (...) They did not even explain to us why we were not accredited», – said Nurgul Tapayeva, Radio Azattyq journalist. The correspondents of Channel 7 and Ulysmedia were also not allowed into the polling station.
