In the village Ust-Zaostrovka in the Omsk District of the Omsk Region, the journalists of Channel 12 who were filming a story about the arrest of a criminal group of drug dealers by security forces were attacked. When the journalists arrived at the cottage of one of the detainees, his relatives ran out and started smashing their equipment. The attackers demanded that they stop filming and threatened to kill the journalist and then fist-bumped her. Medics recorded bruises on her knee and scratches on her forearm and ear. The equipment was also damaged — the attackers ripped out the radio base and damaged the tripod.
