By decision of the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Gomel and the department for combating organised crime and corruption (part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), the BYPOL Telegram channel was labelled “extremist.” “It was discovered that calls for mass protests were repeatedly posted on the channel, and slanderous materials were published about employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to incite hatred. In addition to this, extremist materials were distributed,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
