The Leninsky District Court of Brest declared the Telegram channel of Brestskaya Gazeta with the name BGmedia: News — 2024 and the identifier t.me/BGazeta «extremist information materials». The Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus added the resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials on the basis of a court decision. According to the Belarusian law, distribution and storage of materials declared extremist provides for administrative responsibility for both publishers and users.
