The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined blogger Bozhena Rynska (Malashenko) 20,000 rubles (€207) under Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code for inciting hatred or enmity. The case was based on an interview in which Rynska allegedly “made publicly humiliating statements about a group of people united by their nationality and origin.” Rynska, a former society columnist for Izvestia and Gazeta.ru, has been living abroad since 2022.
