The Ministry of Internal Affairs has put publicist Boris Stomakhin, who in 2019 left for Ukraine after his release from a colony in the Saratov Region, back on the wanted list. In May 2024, it was reported that a criminal case of military «fakes» had been opened against him because of his posts on social media (Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Stomakhin was imprisoned for his texts from 2006 to 2011 and from 2012 to 2019.
