The Tagansky District Court in Moscow has fined journalist and political commentator Boris Grozovsky 30,000 roubles for breaching “foreign agent” legislation (Part 5, Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences). The case was brought because Grozovsky, as a participant in the project "Country and World. Sakharov Review", posted messages on his personal Telegram channel without including the “foreign agent” disclaimer. The project Country and World. Sakharov Review, established by members of the now-dissolved Sakharov Centre, was added to the register of “foreign agents” in December 2024.
