The Russian Ministry of Justice has added Boris Bondarev, former advisor to the Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, to its list of foreign agents. He is accused of spreading fake news about the decisions and policies of the Russian authorities and fake news aimed at creating a negative image of the Russian military. According to the Ministry of Justice, Bondarev also spoke out against the war in Ukraine and disseminated content from “foreign agents” and organisations “undesirable” in Russia.
