On April 19, 20, and 21, journalist Bolot Temirov was summoned for interrogations to the Bishkek Department of Internal Affairs. As Temirov told journalists, he was summoned for interrogations «every two hours». They started interrogating the journalist on April 19. However, he refused to testify because he did not have time to study the case materials. The investigators gave Temirov three days to get acquainted with the case materials, but on April 20 and 21, they again tried to summon the journalist for interrogations with subpoenas and phone calls. «They do not allow me to meet with my lawyer and want me to get acquainted with the case materials without him,» declared Temirov. The series of interrogations began after Temirov Live published another investigation on April 18, 2022, that the company of Kamchybek Tashiyev, son of the head of the State Committee for National Security, had won several tenders in Jalal-Abad, a region in the south of the country.
