The editor-in-chief of Temirov Live was charged under Article 283 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (illegal production of drugs without the intent to sell). A preventive measure was chosen for him in the form of an undertaking not to leave the city. On January 22, police officers accompanied by special forces came to Temirov Live's office in Bishkek. Bolot Temirov was detained and taken to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek. On the same day, his colleague Bolot Nazarov was detained along with Bolot Temirov.
