Bolot Temirov was detained in his office in Bishkek, where police officers and the Drug Trafficking Combat Service officers stormed, accompanied by special forces. Journalist's lawyer Nurbek Toktakunov said on his Facebook page that «the journalist was held all night in the [Internal Affairs] Department building without being drawn up a report. The journalist was interrogated. The detainee also underwent a blood test for drug use, which was negative. «Bolot said that he had been put something in his pocket which was subsequently seized. He was not released after the interrogation, but there was no arrest report either. Currently, he is being illegally held in an office until ordered otherwise by the superiors», – the lawyer wrote. Temirov links his arrest to the professional activities of the Temirov Live and the latest investigation into the fuel business of the family of Kamchybek Tashiev, head of the State Committee of National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
