Two people in civilian clothes detained online activist Bolatbek Blyalov. The reason for the detention was not explained to him. Later it became known that Blyalov, who was brought to the police station, was handed a summons for questioning as a witness with the right to defence in a criminal case related to the Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan movement banned in Kazakhstan. Blyalov is known for representing the interests of citizens with housing problems in courts.
