On June 13, businessman David Yeremyan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the founder of the news website Blognews.am Datablog LLC, demanding to refute the information considered libel, apologise for insulting him, and pay compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article «Businessman Yeremyan Davo has turned into an outlaw» published on May 12 on the above-mentioned website, where, besides using insulting language, the plaintiff is attributed a number of illegal actions and immoral, unethical behaviour. On the day the publication was published, the businessman on his Facebook page called on the editorial office to apologise for the infringement of his business reputation, but the website published only this post, but did not apologise. The lawsuit was accepted into production on June 27 and is in the process of consideration.
