On February 8, Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC filed a lawsuit against Datablog LLC with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, demanding refutation of the information considered libel and payment of AMD 6 million (about USD 15,000) as monetary compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was an article published on January 9 on the website Blognews.am, owned by the LLC, in which the combine is accused of ruining the subsoil and environment, robbery, and endangering the health of the population. The lawsuit is in the process of consideration.
