The Supreme Court declared the media project Belarusian Investigative Centre (BRC) an «extremist» organisation and banned its activities in Belarus. The application to declare BRC an «extremist» organisation was filed with the court by Prosecutor General Andrei Shved. The decision was made by Supreme Court Judge Siarhei Nikalayeu. The trial was held in closed mode with the participation of the KGB representatives. Belarusian Investigative Centre is a team of independent journalists who specialise in investigations, analytics, exposing fakes.
