At the request of the Minsk City Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Information included the news website of the human rights public organisation Belarusian Association of Journalists, its accounts in social networks Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and messenger Telegram, as well as the logo of the organisation, in the list of «extremist materials». «Members of the said association regularly published destructive materials on their own website and other resources on the Internet, <...> purposefully contributed to the formation of sources of threats to national security, incitement of social enmity and discord through the dissemination of inaccurate or deliberately distorted information», — said the prosecutor’s office in Minsk.
