The KGB of Belarus declared the independent news agency BelaPAN «extremist formation» out of court. «A group of citizens from among the employees of the news agency BelaPAN carries out extremist activities», — reported on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The logo of the news agency was also declared extremist. To date, a number of employees of the news agency are in pre-trial detention centers, and criminal cases have been initiated against them.
