Unknown assailants attacked journalist Bektursun Zhorobekov. The attack happened at night at about 11:30 PM. The journalist attributes the attack to his professional activities. According to him, unidentified people with threats called the media earlier. «When I came out of the pharmacy, unknown people started beating me. One of them said that I was a journalist of SuperTV. He was filming what was happening on his camera. I do not know when I lost consciousness, but when I came home, the time was 4:30», — he said. The journalist filed a complaint with the Department of Internal Affairs of the Leninsky district of Bishkek.
