Kloop.kg freelance journalists Bekmyrza Isakov and Alyima Alymova were broadcasting live violations during local elections and voting in the referendum to amend the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan. Suddenly, at a polling station, they were attacked by a group of aggressive women who used physical force and snatched smartphones from journalists. Even though police officers were at the scene of the incident and the journalists asked them to help return the taken smartphones, the authorities did not react.
