Since the evening of March 3, the website of the BBC Russian Service has been blocked for Russian users. At the same time, Meduza, Radio Svoboda, Voice of America, and Deutsche Welle began to be blocked. Roskomnadzor stated that these media outlets were spreading «false information regarding the nature of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine,» as well as about «the methods of combat operations (attacks on civilians, strikes on civilian infrastructure), quantitative losses of the Russian armed forces, and civilian casualties».
