On March 17, the Director of the ArmHydroEnergy project Senik Dzulakyan filed two lawsuits with Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the Head of the Union of Political Scientists of Armenia Amayak Hovhannisyan and online TV company Bats TV, demanding a public apology for insult, refutation of libel, and payment of compensation. The reason for the lawsuits were the thoughts of the political scientist, expressed on the mentioned TV channel on December 21, 2021 and January 15, 2022, in particular, that Senik Dzulakyan acquired a construction permit through corrupt deals and that with his help former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan wants to appropriate the building of the ArmHydroEnergy project, where the office of the Union of Political Scientists of Armenia is located. The lawsuit is being considered.
