The Batken District Court passed a sentence against the blogger Batmakan Zholbolduyeva. Zholbolduyeva was sentenced to two years of probation. In addition, the court deprived her of her right to engage in blogging activities. The blogger was found guilty of hooliganism for causing bodily harm to Alikhan Uraimov, chief of staff of the Batken regional administration. She was also found guilty of violating the privacy of Arzygul Galymbetova and forging documents.
