Bacho Gurbanidze, the directory of Dilist talgis (Morning wave) program, creative manager Giorgi Murvanidze and graphic designer Guram Kadidze were fired on orders from the director general of the Adjari TV and radio broaccaster Girogi Kokherisze. The dismissed employees are claiming that they’ve been fired for being the members of alternative labour unions and attending a protest that was organized by the unions on 26 June. The protesters demanded the protection of freedom of speech and labour rights.
