“Akkord” company, belonging to the government affiliated oligarchs, took away Orudzhovs’ flat through a legal action. The home was bought using a loan; the journalist had the outstanding debt of $3000. Based on the agreement, the remaining sum was paid in instalments. The payments stalled because of COVID-19. The company that filed the lawsuit was decided to take the flat away from the journalist. Using the journalist’s absence the company employees changes the locks, while all his possessions were inside.
