On February 18, 2022, during the trial against the Crimean Tatar activist Edem Dudakov in Bakhchisarai, the police and Rosgvardia officers conducted mass detentions, including the civil journalist of the Crimean Solidarity Aziz Azizov who filmed the event. He was held in the Bakhchisarai District Police Deperamtn, and the next day he was found guilty of violating Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (organization of mass simultaneous stay and (or) movement of citizens in public places, resulting in violation of public order) and was arrested for 7 days.
