The court hearings in the district court on the case of online activist and TikTok blogger began. Earlier, law enforcement authorities opened a criminal case against her under the article «Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious inter-regional hatred (discord)» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Law enforcers found a video of Myrsaliyeva posted on the social network TikTok on March 16, 2022. The police stated that the activist’s words contained «incitement of hatred, the video caused a broad discussion in social networks and can lead to conflicts».
