The personal correspondence of Meydan TV employee Aytaj Akhmedova with imprisoned political activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev was published in Telegram channels against her will. A criminal case was opened against Hajiyev on charges of hooliganism and contempt of court, and a preventive measure was imposed on him. After his arrest, Hajiyev’s personal correspondence with various women in previous years began to be spread by unknown persons in Telegram channels and on Facebook. The journalist filed a request with the law enforcement authorities to initiate a criminal case.
