Several activists, journalists and media organizations in Azerbaijan lost control of their accounts on social networks for two weeks. Their user accounts on Facebook were hacked and deactivated with the use of their IDs. They received notices from Facebook about a query from unidentified persons with the use of their identification cards for authorization of their user accounts. This was said in a statement from the Civil Society of Azerbaijan Group.
