According to her, the problems started after she published a status criticizing the actions of municipalities. As Aliyeva reported, in connection with the municipal elections, she wrote on her Facebook profile: "Why should I vote? They did not even install one garbage bin." She was asked to write an explanatory note due to her Facebook status.
