On January 26, by the decision of the Yasamal District Court of Baku, the former correspondent of the newspaper Azadliq Aydin Janiyev was arrested for 1 month under Article 388-1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Azerbaijan (placement of information prohibited for dissemination in the Internet information resource or information and telecommunications network, as well as failure to prevent placement of such information).
