Maksim Kondratyev, head of the human rights media project Avtozak Live, announced its closure. The project’s operations within Russia were forced to shut down due to the threat of criminal prosecution. Avtozak Live reported on political repression and offered support to political prisoners. In May 2024, Roskomnadzor blocked access to its website in Russia.
