Deputy Etibar Aliyev filed a lawsuit against the well-known journalist, head of Xural TV Avaz Zeynally. The deputy believes that the journalist humiliated his honor and dignity (Article 23 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan) by libeling him in his materials. The deputy demanded the court to fine the journalist AZN 11,000 and order the shutdown of Xural TV.
