In Novorossiysk, a video blogger, former military officer Askhabali Alibekov, known as the «wild paratrooper,» was prosecuted under Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code (repeated «discrediting» of the army). The case was opened because of the videos on the Internet. Alibekov was twice fined for the videos. On September 6, Alibekov was detained for one day, after which he was given a preventive measure with a number of bans, including the use of the Internet and attendance at public events.
