On June 25, the information and analytical website AsiaTerra was subjected to a DDoS attack. Hosting administrators temporarily disabled the mobile version of the website, the desktop version is working. The editorial office does not link the attempt to hack the website to any particular publication, the reason for the attack is the critical orientation of the media outlet as a whole. The last time a powerful DDoS attack on the website was undertaken in spring last year, after the publication of the article «The ’Provider’ of Development and Support of Uzbekistan’s Mass Media is Trying to Deprive an Unwanted Journalist of the Right to a Profession». At that time, the website was down for about a week.
