The Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan ordered the newspaper to pay a fine of 300 thousand Kyrgyz soms (about $ 2,400) to the Minister of Internal Affairs. In 2019, the minister sued the newspaper to protect honour and dignity because of the information and collage published in the newspaper. Earlier, the minister demanded five million Kyrgyz soms (about $ 40,000) from journalists. Courts of all instances upheld Dzhunushaliev's claims, but the amount of the claim was reduced to 300 thousand soms.
