Journalist Asem Zhapisheva stated about the interest in her person by the officers of the Center for Combating Extremism. The journalist said on social networks that the employee of the Center for Combating Extremism Maulen Kasymzhan came to work to the activist of the unregistered Democratic Party Gulnar Mirambetova. According to Zhapisheva, the officer intimidated Mirambetova, recruited her, and questioned her about Zhapisheva. «Such secret questioning violates my right to privacy and the right to freedom and personal inviolability. If the Center for Combating Extremism has questions for me, they should ask them personally», — journalist Zhapisheva wrote on social media.
