Businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan filed a lawsuit against Asekose LLC with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction because of the materials published on the website. In one of the materials, it was reported that oligarch Sukiasyan, close to Nikol Pashinyan, was founding an airline, in connection with which an order was received from the government to register it in an accelerated procedure. Another publication said that the engines of the clients’ cars were failing because of the low-quality fuel imported by Sukiasyan. Both pieces were prepared with reference to unidentifiable sources. The plaintiff demands a public apology, refutation of the information considered libel, publication of the judicial act, and payment of compensation. The court ruling of October 18 dismissed the case, as the defendant apologised to the businessman on its website on October 4.
