Mega Trade LLC filed a lawsuit against Asekose LLC with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction demanding refutation of the information considered libel and payment of compensation. The plaintiff is the enterprise of businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan. The reason for the lawsuit was the material published on the website Asekose.am, in which it was reported that the engines of cars fail because of the low-quality fuel imported by the company. The lawsuit was accepted and the court proceedings started. A separate lawsuit was filed by the businessman himselve. The defendant published a refutation text agreed in advance with the plaintiff, after which, on October 22, the court case was terminated.
