The journalist was detained by the police when he was covering a protest march in Minsk. He was taken to the police department, where he was drawn up a report on violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was sent to the temporary detention centre until trial. After two days, the journalist was temporarily released until the case was considered in court on September 16. The case was closed because the period of liability had expired.
