Artem Lyava was returning home after covering a protest action against the presidential election results and the security forces' violence. Law enforcers blocked his car, and he was detained and taken to the police department. After examination, the vehicle was confiscated and impounded. The journalist's phone was unlocked, and the police saw the information on it. The police held the journalist at the police station overnight and refused to inform his family about his whereabouts. He was released about 10 hours after the arrest.
